Status assigned by Boxoffy based on air date, episode count, franchise history, and current trajectory. Updated weekly.
Anupamaa's slide is the subplot worth watching. Dropping to #4 on the same TRP (1.8) as its spin-off (Kyunki Rishton) means the franchise is splitting its own audience. The Goa track hasn't reversed the trend yet. Star Plus has five shows in the top 10 — but three of them are franchise-linked (Kyunki, Kyunki Rishton, Anupamaa). When the franchise fatigues, it fatigues everything.
IPL 2026 is starting to bite. The mid-tier — Udne Ki Aasha, Yeh Rishta, TMKOC — dropped slightly this week. This will worsen over the next 6–7 weeks. History shows a 15–20% TRP decline across GEC Hindi during peak IPL, with recovery in June.

Data: BARC India (barcindia.co.in) Wk 7–12, 2026. TRP = TVR per 000. Minor rounding may apply.
BARC India (Broadcast Audience Research Council) is the world's largest TV measurement body, jointly owned by broadcasters (IBDF), advertisers (ISA) and media agencies (AAAI). Ratings are measured using BAR-o-meters — electronic devices installed in 55,000+ sample homes across urban and rural India — that passively detect inaudible audio watermarks embedded in broadcast content. Data covers 210 million TV households and approximately 891 million TV viewers.
TRP (TVR) is expressed as impressions per thousand panel homes. All India 2+ covers all age groups across urban and rural. Hindi GEC (General Entertainment Channel) is the segment reported here. Data is released every Thursday for the preceding Saturday–Friday window. Boxoffy aggregates and editorially contextualises BARC's publicly released Data Insights.
